Loveland city is located in Hamilton, Clermont and Warren counties of the southwestern part of the state of Ohio of the US. It is considered a part of the greater Cincinnati area. In the 2000 census, its population was 11,677.

Going thru the citys history, it was named after James Loveland who was the owner of a general store and operated a post office close to the railroad tracks of the city. It was considered to be as a village on May twelve, 1876 and later in 1961, it was incorporated as a chartered city.
Before, Loveland was legendary for its summer houses for the rich and prominent folks. However , due to its proximity to the little Miami river, it was prone to flooding. Certain wild natural phenomena washed out some of the citys establishments but they were reconstructed immediately.
