Life is a complete circle. Who comes, has to leave one day. In the industrial era of today, it not only is trivial to live green, but it is also significant to die green. What is meant here is that staying environment friendly is a need that should persist till your final breath. Whatever you have done throughout your life in saving the earth should not go down the drain after your demise. For the healthy reimbursement of the environment, Green burial are increasingly being very common. There are several reasons why a Green cemetery is taking over the place of cremation and other modes of burial. The most important of it is being environment friendly.
More than just being economical and inexpensive, this style of a funeral will totally do justice to your love to the deceased. As much as you lay stress on green living, dying green should be similarly important. If we collect all the embalming solution used, it is not surprising that it will top eight of the Olympic-size swimming pools. Now that is exceedingly alarming!
According to a reaearch it has been shown that there are above 22,500 cemeteries that use around 827,060 gallons of embalming fluid on the dead bodies of their dear ones. Embalming fluids consist of different chemicals like formaldehyde, disinfectants, methanol, phenols, dyes and etc, that are not very advantageous to the soil. Moreover, these chemicals seep down till the ground water level and may cause severe health hazards when taken in with water.
Now the question develops, why should we select a green burial when we can easily afford an exclusive one? The answer to this is quite simple and reasonable. However the person is deceased, but it feels good to make him cozy even in his grave. You would like your dear one to rest in peace, hence you must make it serene for him in there. A biodegradable casket, with a blanket over it, will surely give you a satisfactory feel that your dear one is sleeping in harmony. More to this would be a soothing sight of the grave under a flower bed of various flowers and shrubs that surround the deceased. Even though a metal coffin with a heavy vault will appear nice at the ceremony, it will not be able to complete the circle of life as efficiently as a green burial will.
Lastly, the nature has to play its role. The body has to go back to the ground to give back the nutrients it is made of. The environment needs to be conserved for the future generations to arrive. Non-renewable supplies used in a traditional funeral will not only cease down the natural growth, but also they will prove to be very unhealthy for the people years later. Therefore, a solution to keep it all according to the nature’s own way, is an environment friendly burial. Although it may sound like a clich? now, but it is about time that we should realize this; save the planet!
